Other professionals/organisations
Headway Birmingham and Solihull is very keen to spread knowledge and understanding of brain injury, as well as making people aware of our services. We are also keen to set up new partnerships and joint projects whereever possible.
We are therefore able to offer the following:
Talks
This can be arranged through Headway B&S. We can visit you or we may also able to provide a small training room at Leighton House in Rednal or Sutton House in Wylde Green, should you require it.
Headway staff are available to come and give a short talk at your organisation. This can be informal, through a powerpoint demonstration or a simple ‘Question and Answer’ session. Whatever you require we can adjust to suit. There is no charge for this service.
Subjects may include Introduction to Brain Injury or the service that we offer to brain injured people and their families. Others can be arranged upon discussion. Talks usually last from 15 to 30 minutes depending on subject.
We are happy to talk to any organisation however small or large - from a local scout group to a Social Services Team.
